Do you need explicit grammar knowledge?
A word of warning, if you plan to study these grammar books in the hope that they will give you the ability to use all these grammatical structures you learn correctly, then you are in for a big disappointment. This is not how the acquisition of the grammatical system of a language works. I have published a blog post about this issue: Grammar Teaching Does Not Necessarily Lead To Proficiency.
These books are helpful however, if you are preparing for a language exam where explicit grammar knowledge is part of the test, for example if you take the CAE or CPE. Then, it is actually necessary to practice because you will need to know rules and exceptions by heart. These books are also helpful if you want to become more aware of the rules governing the grammatical system of the English language and if you want to learn about the exceptions of each grammatical feature.
However, keep in mind that explicitly studying grammar has little impact on your practical and applicable knowledge of these language structures.
